Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Project/Release Manager to join their team. As a Project/Release Manager, you will be part of the Governance team supporting project delivery and release oversight. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong stakeholder management, and a process-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Charlotte, NC (On-site, hybrid 3 days onsite)

What's the Job?

  • Manage Scrum ceremonies, project coordination, and release management activities across multiple initiatives.
  • Perform governance reviews to ensure projects meet established standards before deployment.
  • Conduct manual reviews and validations of project deployments, ensuring requirements have been met and releases are ready for production.
  • Partner with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to coordinate release readiness and resolve delivery issues.
  • Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and release milestones to ensure timely delivery.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Release Manager roles (senior-level experience preferred).
  • Experience coordinating software delivery, release management, or governance processes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Experience using Jira for Agile project tracking and work management.
  • Experience with Remedy and ServiceNow for change and incident management.
