Our client, a leading organization in international trade and logistics, is seeking an Import/Export & Custom Compliance Analyst to join their team. As an Import/Export & Custom Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Customs Compliance team supporting US and Canadian import/export operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Import/Export & Custom Compliance Analyst
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $30-37/hr
Duration 6 Months with Could result in possible conversion to FTE
Must Have:
- Experience in Customs Compliance
- Customs import entries
- SAP/ Ariba experience.
- Import and Export experience
- Experience in US HTS classification, ISF filing, Section 232 tariffs, or OGA/PGA requirements (FDA, etc.), as well as Schedule B, ECCN, Canadian HTS classification.
What's the Job?
- Support the review and processing of customs entries for US and Canadian shipments
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry across multiple portals including FedEx, UPS, ACE, and CARM
- Monitor and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and compliance issues in import/export documentation
- Assist in maintaining classification databases and recordkeeping systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to customs regulations and internal standards
What's Needed?
- Experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, or related fields
- Understanding of customs import entries and related documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office software; SAP experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination
