Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud storage and infrastructure, is seeking a Service Engineer to join their team. As a Service Engineer, you will be part of the Azure Storage support team, focusing on core services that underpin the platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA - hybrid - 3 Days in office
Pay Range: $50.hr - $53.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/PTO)
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software, including mainframe and client/server applications.
- Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data.
- Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement system software and customize solutions to meet specific client requirements.
- Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans, and conduct unit testing of developed programs.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in C# with the ability to build on existing code, develop, test, and debug effectively.
- Ability to understand and work with scripts in PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with problem diagnosis and resolution in large systems software environments.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in software development or support roles.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
