Java Developer IV

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Java Developer IV to join their team. As a Java Developer IV, you will be part of the IT department supporting the development and maintenance of critical applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Provide development support to new custom applications and legacy systems as a hands-on developer
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure system stability

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java development
• At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript
• 2 years of experience working with SQL databases
• Experience with financial systems, including invoicing, billing, or payment systems, is highly preferred
• Knowledge of ReactJS or other SPA JavaScript frameworks, Git, and Agile development methodologies is a plus
