Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the IT department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12+ months with high possiblity of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support project delivery, including governance, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates.
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across organizations to support timely deliverable completion.
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery progress, risks, issues, and schedules.

What's Needed?

  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, change management, PMO, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, and Bank project management tools and capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Tableau and offshore support, such as Shannon - Offshore support, is a plus.
