Laboratory Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific research and development sector, is seeking a Laboratory Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will be an integral part of the research and development department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Engineer

Location: Eagan, MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range:$22 to $27 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage technical programs of significant importance to the division, focusing on scientific research, applied technology, and product or process innovations.
• Identify, plan, recommend, and execute innovative technical projects that extend existing technologies and develop new applications.
• Maintain a continuous flow of major technical contributions, including material, product, and process innovations, and document these through patents, reports, and technical publications.
• Establish and foster intra- and inter-divisional collaborations to build a support network involving manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
• Document experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and deliver technical presentations to communicate findings effectively.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in scientific research, engineering, or related technical fields.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide technical teams and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting complex technical information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven track record of innovation, including contributions to patents, publications, or technical reports.
