Customer Demand Planner

Our client, in consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Customer Demand Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have data analysis/reporting, Excel and Power BI, as well as excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization (major corporation/great company)..

Job Title: Customer Demand Planner

Location: Hoboken, NJ / Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Contract: 1 Year (extension possible)

Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly

What’s the Job?

• Develop and manage customer demand forecasts, inventory replenishment plans, and stock positioning to ensure optimal product availability, service levels, and supply chain performance.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and supply chain data to create accurate baseline forecasts, support promotional planning, and improve forecast accuracy for key customers.
• Partner closely with Sales, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and customer stakeholders to execute inventory preparedness, order fulfillment, and compliance with customer service requirements.
• Identify demand, inventory, and order management trends; recommend and implement process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction, logistics efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Optimize inventory levels and shipment planning by determining ideal stock positions, building cost-effective truckload shipments, and supporting joint business objectives while minimizing supply chain costs.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related fields.
• 1-3 years of relevant Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, or Customer Service experience required.
• REQUIRED:  Data analysis and reporting with Advanced Excel. Also, Power BI experience
• Helpful, not required: CPG/Wholesale experience, B2B Customer Facing Experience, Retail HQ experience; some experience with SAP, AMPS, Merlin or other Supply Chain information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
