DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Rockville, MD

Pay Range: $77-80/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including environment provisioning and management
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines to support microservice deployment and scaling
• Implement container orchestration strategies with tools like ECS, ECR, and VPC
• Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, and ensure platform reliability
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure solutions

What's Needed?

• Experience with AWS cloud services such as ECS, ECR, IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency in managing containerized services and orchestration tools
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices and automated testing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative approach
