Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

Our client, is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of the Cybersecurity and Compliance department supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of comprehensive cybersecurity programs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain secure architectures for cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring robust security controls.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices organization-wide to promote a security-first culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, legal, and audit to integrate security into all phases of technology development and operations.
• Perform risk assessments, manage compliance audits, and develop remediation strategies to address security gaps and ensure regulatory adherence.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or security engineering.
• Deep expertise in cloud security architecture, security automation, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead security initiatives and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of security controls, vulnerability management, and enterprise risk management practices.
