Our client, a leading technology services provider, is seeking an Incident Commander to join their team. As an Incident Commander, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting Webex/Spark services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to incident management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Incident Commander

Location: Texas, TN (preferably on-site, remote options available across North America) 

What's the Job?

  • Lead real-time incident management for Webex/Spark services, overseeing Major Incident (IM) and Problem Management (PM) processes from start to finish.
  • Manage and coordinate incident bridges, ensuring prompt engagement, clear communication, and structured resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, network, and external teams to restore services within established SLAs.
  • Provide transparent verbal and written updates to stakeholders, including incident status reports and post-incident summaries.
  • Utilize ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow) to log, track, and manage incidents and problem records effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience in Incident Management and Problem Management operations.
  • Exceptional bridge handling and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, with a preference for ServiceNow.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes, VMware, Linux, and networking concepts.
  • Ability to perform initial technical triage and drive root cause analysis (RCA).
