Java Developer - Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Senior to join their team. As a Java Developer - Senior, you will be part of the Enhanced Client Verification Team supporting critical enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web services supporting business-critical integration projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement new features ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and project goals
• Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables

What's Needed?

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 4+ years of software development experience
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and front-end/back-end integration
• Proficiency in Java, Springboot, and related frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test automation
• Experience with Splunk queries, dashboards, and monitoring (3+ years)
