Quality Engineer I

Job Title: Quality Engineer I
Location: Scarborough, ME - 100% Onsite 
Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Support production with resolution of quality issues in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist on the manufacturing floor to ensure adherence to procedures and proper documentation of device history records (DHR).
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional behavior with internal and external business associates, reflecting positively on the company and adhering to policies and practices.
• Identify and understand the quality implications of job responsibilities, including device defects related to product design, verification, validation, manufacturing, and testing activities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of database, internet, inventory, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMPs/QSR, and ISO quality system requirements.
• Strong technical writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to support a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, onsite in Scarborough, ME.
