Job Title: Engineering - Non Degreed I/ Test Technician
Location: Plano, TX 75024
Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Shift: 6 AM – 4:30 PM 
Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Engineering - Non Degreed I/ Test Technician” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Assemble electromechanical subassemblies and finished medical devices, including small precision components.
• Perform functional and electrical testing using automated equipment and manual instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
• Conduct electrical testing of medical device hardware while following quality and regulatory standards.
• Support rework, repair, servicing, and refurbishment of nonconforming products.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and document activities in CMMS (InforEAM).
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, including Device History Records (DHR).
• Utilize electronic systems for data collection and production tracking.
• Follow FDA regulations, Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental Health & Safety procedures.
• Support process validation, continuous improvement, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
• Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Provide cross-functional support and training as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Interpret SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Support audits, inspections, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.

• 0–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Electromechanical assembly
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Electrical testing and inspection
• Use of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator)
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Ability to follow SOPs, engineering drawings, and technical instructions
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA-regulated environments
• Computer and data entry skills

• Medical device or highly regulated manufacturing experience
• Cleanroom experience
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (InforEAM)
• Knowledge of QMS, EMS, and compliance standards
• Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or Associate degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
