IT Project Manager III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an IT Project Manager III to join their team. As an IT Project Manager III, you will be part of the Program Management Office supporting multiple teams and workstreams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Project Manager III

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?

• Focus on program financials and support Tech leadership in program-wide activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate routines such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates.
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for key deliverables.
• Promote communication and collaboration across organizations to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

What's Needed?

• Experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge or experience with large-scale ERP systems, such as Oracle Financials, is a plus.
