Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Driveline Systems Integration Engineer to join their team. As a Driveline Systems Integration Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Product Development and System Integration teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Driveline Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Windsor, ON

What's the Job?

  • Lead interface between the Chief Engineering team and the Product Release Center, managing system interactions and interfaces between components and subsystems of the Driveline System.
  • Design and oversee hardware system integration, balancing all EDM gearbox components and ensuring system robustness.
  • Coordinate with Design Release Engineers, COEs, manufacturing, suppliers, and validation centers to facilitate seamless development and validation processes.
  • Organize and lead system design reviews, virtual analysis, and CAE team reviews, ensuring completion of Virtual DVP/Scorecard prior to prototype hardware orders.
  • Manage DFMEA/DRBFM reviews, support cost reduction initiatives, and ensure alignment of change notices with updated checklists and E BPs.

  • Experience in system integration within the automotive or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of driveline systems, hardware integration, and validation processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead technical reviews and manage multiple project schedules.
  • Knowledge of cost reduction strategies and design control processes.
