Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions supporting various business functions. Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey - Hybrid

What's the Job?

• In office at least 2–3 days per week, supporting ongoing testing initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript and/or Python.
• Execute UI, API, and database test automation to ensure software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test reporting frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and/or Python for test automation.
• Proven expertise in UI, API, and database testing automation.
• Solid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to build and maintain reusable automation components.
• Exposure to API testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test reporting frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a quality-first mindset.
