Senior AML Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior AML Analyst to join their team. As a Senior AML Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) supporting payment facilitation and compliance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Job Title: Senior AML Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Pay Range: $42/hr - $44.50/hr (depends on experience)

What's the Job?

  • Manage and oversee due diligence processes for prospective and existing partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of documentation related to AML, regulatory controls, and risk management pillars.
  • Collaborate with compliance and financial crime experts to evaluate risk and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Engage proactively with partners to gather necessary documentation and ensure timely responses.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with internal teams and external partners regarding compliance requirements and follow-up actions.

What's Needed?

  • Extensive experience in Customer Due Diligence or Compliance within regulated financial environments.
  • Strong understanding of AML compliance rules, industry guidelines (FATF, JMLSG), and regulatory frameworks in the US and UK.
  • Proficiency with screening systems such as Dow Jones, LexisNexis, and FS experience is highly preferred.
  • Certifications like CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a results-driven mindset.
