Firewall Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Firewall Network Security Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in enterprise firewall engineering and network security operations. This role will focus on supporting firewall infrastructure, driving security initiatives, and leading critical IT/OT network segmentation efforts within complex enterprise and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize secure network architectures.

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $60/hr on W2

What’s the Job?

• Manage and support enterprise firewall environments, including troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and operational maintenance.
• Design, implement, and maintain firewall policies, access controls, and security configurations.
• Administer Palo Alto Networks solutions such as Panorama, Prisma VPN, and related security tools.
• Lead and support IT/OT segmentation initiatives, ensuring secure separation between corporate IT and operational technology networks.

Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and OT teams on security projects, incident response, and infrastructure improvements 

What’s Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in network security engineering, firewall administration, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Panorama, Prisma VPN, App-ID, User-ID, and ADEM.
• Proven experience designing and implementing IT/OT network segmentation and security boundary controls.
• Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills with experience in enterprise-scale environments.
