Consumer Service Agent

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer services industry, is seeking a Consumer Service Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Consumer Service Agent

Location: South Burlington, VT/ HYBRID (after training period)

Pay Range: $20hr to $23/hr

Contract: 9 months (extension/conversion to permanent possible)

What's the Job?

• Engage with customers via emails, phone calls, and live chat regarding products, campaigns, and company initiatives with professionalism and empathy.
• Research and collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and data in engagement systems.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and provide updates on their inquiries.
• Utilize systems such as Salesforce, Excel, and MS Office to manage customer information and support team operations.

What's Needed?

• 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional, customer-focused communicator with strong phone and email skills; able to discuss past customer service experience and remain positive at all times.
• Handles a fast-paced environment (20–30 calls and 40–50 emails daily) with concise, effective communication and excellent soft skills.
• Retail customer service backgrounds welcome; Salesforce experience preferred, but training provided for candidates with basic computer skills.
