The Opportunity
Are you a banking operations professional with a strong background in wire transfers and foreign exchange (FX) processing? Our client, a premier global financial institution, is looking for a skilled and adaptable Cash Management & Wire Operations Specialist to join their LA-based team.
This is a dynamic, "hat-wearing" role where you will rotate across Wire Operations, FX Processing, and Treasury Back Office. As the bank undergoes a major digital transformation (migrating to FIS D1C and Montran), you will be at the forefront of the most modern core banking technology in the industry while serving as a subject matter expert on wire routing and currency exchange.
Key Responsibilities
-
Wire Transfer Processing & Repair: Execute, monitor, and repair high-value domestic (Fedwire) and international (SWIFT) wire transfers, ensuring absolute accuracy and strict adherence to cutoff times.
-
Foreign Exchange (FX) Support: Facilitate and verify FX transactions, multi-currency account transfers, and international payment routing.
-
Cash Management Ops: Support the lifecycle of cash products, including account analysis, billing (FIS Horizon), and statement management (FCM).
-
Client Advisory & Support: Provide personable, high-level support to commercial customers via phone/email regarding complex wire transfers, FX rate inquiries, and online banking migrations.
-
System Migration Support: Assist with the transition of wire and cash platforms from legacy systems (Dragonfly, Pay+) to Digital One Commercial (D1C) and Montran.
-
Treasury Back Office: Assist with daily reconciliations, OFAC/compliance screening, and treasury operational tasks to ensure seamless end-of-day processing.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Experience: 2+ years of direct experience in Wire Operations and Foreign Exchange (FX) processing within a commercial or corporate banking environment.
-
The Technical Must-Haves: Hands-on experience initiating, clearing, or repairing international wires (SWIFT) and executing multi-currency transactions.
-
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with FIS Horizon, Pay+, Montran, or Dragonfly is highly valued.
-
Customer-Centric Edge: A personable professional who can confidently walk a corporate client through a complex wire routing or platform transition issue.
-
The "X-Factor": A proactive, hungry-to-learn attitude with the ability to pivot seamlessly between wire processing and cash management tasks.
Why Apply?
-
Path to 100% Remote: Once you are fully trained and integrated into the team (on a 2-3x/week hybrid schedule in DTLA), you will have the opportunity to transition to a fully remote schedule.
-
Modern Tech Stack: Gain highly marketable, hands-on experience with the latest FIS Core Banking and Montran products.
-
Career Growth: This is a project-heavy, transformation-focused team, giving you direct exposure to major system implementations and digital banking upgrades.
