Our client, a leading organization in data center operations and electronic asset management, is seeking a Data Center Technician I to join their team. As a Data Center Technician I, you will be part of the technical support and logistics team supporting critical data center infrastructure and reverse logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Test and repair data center hardware components using various testing rigs and documentation tools
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage parts check-out processes
  • Load and unload shipments, transporting parts between different locations within the facility
  • Diagnose hardware and network issues, performing physical repairs as needed
  • Participate in team meetings to analyze metrics and achieve daily/weekly goals

What's Needed?

  • Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic to intermediate system administration knowledge and familiarity with SOPs
  • Ability to safely lift and move equipment, parts, and materials throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/data center environment with security screening procedures
  • Experience working in warehousing, reverse logistics, manufacturing, or de-manufacturing environments is preferred
