Our client, a leading industrial distribution organization, is seeking an AI Enablement & Governance Lead to join their team. As an AI Enablement & Governance Lead, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Science & AI Center of Excellence supporting cross-functional business teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and change management expertise which will align successfully in the organization.

Schedule: Onsite M-W; Remote Thurs Friday
Type: W2 contract to hire (6 month)

What’s the Job?

  • Lead enterprise-wide AI adoption initiatives, driving change management and user engagement to maximize business value from AI tools and solutions.
  • Build, facilitate, and scale internal AI Communities of Practice and champion networks to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
  • Partner with learning and development teams to create and deliver AI literacy programs, training materials, and user enablement resources.
  • Manage governance processes for approved AI tools, custom agents, and use cases while promoting responsible AI practices and compliance standards.
  • Track adoption metrics, user engagement, and organizational AI maturity, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
 
What’s Needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, MIS, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, digital enablement, or program management within a corporate environment.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting adoption, training, enablement, or governance for digital transformation, AI, or SaaS initiatives.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience developing champion networks, communities of practice, training programs, and knowledge-sharing platforms such as SharePoint.
