Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Analyst (Events Team) to join their team. As a Business Analyst (Events Team), you will be part of the Events Department supporting the team responsible for mergers, purges, conversions, and critical file updates for clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Business Analyst (Events Team)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri (In-office 6 times a month; ideally local to KC, open to remote) Averages 16-18 Saturdays per year

Pay Range: Up to $80k salary 

What's the Job?

  • Support client-facing work and requirements gathering to ensure project success
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication
  • Assist in delivery processes, including configuration, progress tracking, and demos of checkpoints and tool functionality
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Contribute to critical file updates for clients such as new funds and option updates for mutual fund clients like T ROWE, Fidelity, etc.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with project management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Excel, with exceptional Excel skills
  • SQL query experience for data analysis and reporting
  • TA200 experience is a plus
