Field Service Technician

Our client, a Technology Services organization, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of the Field Services Department supporting Customer Support and Hardware Repair Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Billings, MT
Pay Range: $28-30/hr
Duration: 2-Year Contract

What’s the Job?

• Provide onsite break/fix support for laptops, desktops, workstations, POS systems, and printers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware issues.
• Configure hardware, software, and basic networking components.
• Perform installations and support technical escalations.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer communication.

What’s Needed?

• Customer-facing technical support or field service experience.
• Hardware repair and troubleshooting background.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
