Our client is seeking a Product Owner to join their team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Department supporting application development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:  Remote - must reside in Wisconsin

What's the Job?

  • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and storyboarding sessions to identify business objectives and functionality gaps.
  • Provide system analysis to identify integrations and assess impacts across teams and processes.
  • Act as the main communication channel linking operational teams, subject matter experts, and development teams.
  • Translate business requirements into User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria, execute test plans, and validate system fixes.
  • Oversee end-to-end SDLC from system specification to deployment and end-user training, including drafting documentation and conducting training sessions.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in enterprise Java/React ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, microservices, and modern UI/UX principles.
  • Exceptional capability in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work directly with non-technical business users.
  • Ability to perform as a self-starter with a sense of urgency and collaboration skills.
