Desktop Support Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be an integral part of the IT support department, assisting in maintaining seamless technology operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Niskayuna, NY

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support for Windows and iOS corporate devices to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve incidents and execute change tickets efficiently.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of business and common applications, including Microsoft and third-party enterprise tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware and peripheral device issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation and support records for all support activities.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Desktop Family Operating Systems (Win 7/10).
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, network devices, and cloud services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
