Data Center Network Consulting Engineer

Our client, a leading technology services organization, is seeking a Data Center Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) to join their team. As a Data Center Network Consulting Engineer (NCE), you will be part of the Network Infrastructure team supporting Data Center Operations, Automation, and Network Transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $55 per hour W2
What’s the Job?

• Manage and support standalone data center environments utilizing traditional three-tier architectures.
• Participate in network transformation projects migrating legacy environments to VXLAN fabric architectures.
• Develop and implement network automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Jenkins Pipeline.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus platforms (5K, 6K, 7K, and 9K) running NX-OS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network operations, performance, and automation capabilities.

• Strong hands-on experience with VXLAN technologies and data center networking.
• Experience supporting Cisco Nexus platforms (5K, 6K, 7K, 9K) and NX-OS environments.
• Practical automation experience using Ansible and Python in production environments.
• Experience with Jenkins Pipeline, GitHub, and network automation best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
