Our client, a public sector organization dedicated to governance and community engagement, is seeking a Governance Support Multimedia Specialist to join their team. As a Governance Support Multimedia Specialist, you will be part of the Executive Office supporting governance processes and public meeting logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Governance Support Multimedia Specialist (Part-Time)
Location:Sacramento, California
Pay Range:$29.00 to $32.00 per hour
What's the Job?
- Coordinate logistics for public meetings, including preparing agendas and assembling meeting packets.
- Assist with audiovisual setup, room configuration, and technology testing to ensure seamless meetings.
- Prepare, format, and distribute meeting materials, tracking deadlines and coordinating submissions.
- Serve as a backup to the Board Liaison, supporting governance documentation and communication.
- Attend governance meetings to accurately record minutes and prepare comprehensive summaries.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience providing technical support for meetings and events.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an office setting for 8 hours per day and travel within Sacramento as needed.
