Scientific Research Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the cosmetics and consumer products industry, is seeking a dedicated Scientific Research Analyst to join their team. As a Scientific Research Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Research and Development department supporting claims validation, product testing, and technical communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly, aligning successfully with the company's innovative and results-driven culture.

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support for makeup projects, including creating testing plans and negotiating claims with marketing and legal teams.
• Track project progress, ensure timely completion of tests, and communicate updates to marketing teams.
• Explain technical information and technologies related to ingredients and testing processes for products and competitive brands.
• Create detailed product technical dossiers to support new product proposals and launches, including formulas, packaging, demos, and claims.
• Collaborate with U.S. Safety, Claims, and Evaluation teams to determine sampling needs and coordinate with labs for timely sample receipt.

What's Needed?

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical or scientific role, preferably within the cosmetics or consumer products industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Background in marketing or familiarity with product claims and regulatory considerations is a plus.
