Junior Disaster Recovery Coordinator / IT Project Coordinator (Cloud Resiliency)
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite weekly)
Duration: 6 Months Contract + Extensions
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $48.00 / hour W2
Eligibility Requirements: Strict W2 Only. No Corp-to-Corp (C2C), third parties, or W2 referrals will be accepted.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Junior Project Coordinator with 3 to 4 years of experience to manage and coordinate disaster recovery (DR) testing cycles for a large portfolio of cloud-hosted applications.
No prior Disaster Recovery experience is required. The ideal candidate does not need to be a DR expert, but you must possess a strong foundational understanding of IT systems/cloud environments and exhibit world-class organizational skills.
This role follows a fast-paced, structured "rinse and repeat" model. Instead of managing a massive, traditional project plan filled with heavy administrative paperwork, you will function as a nimble technical coordinator. You will personally manage a portfolio of 20 to 30 individual cloud applications, driving each independent testing cycle from initial scheduling through execution and final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities

  • Testing Coordination: Manage and coordinate the end-to-end disaster recovery testing cycle for 20 to 30 cloud applications, ensuring all activities are scheduled, executed, and tracked according to program requirements.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the central point of contact to partner with individual application owners, cloud engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to establish clear testing windows and success criteria.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead test planning meetings, readiness reviews, active test execution bridges, and post-test reviews.
  • Compliance & Tracking: Collect and track testing evidence, documentation quality, action plans, and regulatory readiness data to ensure complete compliance.
  • Data & Dashboards: Maintain an accurate application inventory, metrics, and program reporting dashboards across multiple concurrent testing cycles.
  • Issue Resolution: Drive cross-functional coordination to resolve scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and technical dependency impacts.
Core Requirements
  • 3 to 4 Years of IT Support or Project Coordination Experience: Experience working in a junior Project Coordinator, Technical Analyst, or IT Business Analyst capacity.
  • Superb Organizational Skills: A Project Management style mindset with the ability to ruthlessly multi-task and keep 20 to 30 distinct, moving application timelines organized simultaneously.
  • Technical & Cloud Literacy: A solid foundational comfort level with technology, cloud concepts (AWS, Azure), or modern software architectures. You don't need to code, but you must be able to confidently speak the language of cloud engineers and app owners.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate across distributed teams, facilitate live technical testing bridges, and report statuses to leadership.
  • Thrive in Repetitive, Fast Cycles: Comfort navigating a high-volume, repeatable execution framework where consistency and data integrity are key.

Upon completion of waiting period, consultants are eligible for:

  • Medical and Prescription Drug Plans
  • Dental Plan
  • Vision Plan
  • Health Savings Account
  • Health Flexible Spending Account
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance
