Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in research and development within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting research, development, and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota (100% onsite0

Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
  • Assist with setting up complex experiments and testing procedures for assigned programs.
  • Prepare lab-scale samples and conduct a variety of characterization tests.
  • Record lab activities and observations meticulously in laboratory notebooks.
  • Maintain proper inventories of lab supplies and ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.

What's Needed?

  • Associates Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve, and implement solutions effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience using power tools and testing equipment.
