Our client, a leader in the clinical research industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Clinical Contracts Manager to join their team. As a vital member of the Contracting Department supporting global clinical studies, you will play a key role in developing and executing contracting strategies that ensure the successful initiation and management of clinical trials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:Durham, NC

Pay Range:$48/hr - $51/hr

What's the Job?

  • Develop and support the global contracting strategy for clinical research studies, ensuring alignment with sponsor requirements and organizational goals.
  • Manage the delivery of investigator contract templates, protocol pricing, payment terms, and training to local negotiation teams and RSU regions.
  • Provide legal, operational, and financial contract support to facilitate efficient study initiation and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and regional teams to deliver project scope within timelines and budget constraints.
  • Maintain and utilize contracting systems, tools, and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all activities.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sponsor or clinical research organization site contracting, with demonstrated global or regional experience as a contract negotiator.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial contracting processes, legal, operational, and financial aspects.
  • Proficiency in developing contract language, payment terms, and budget templates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with contracting systems, tools, and databases, including CTMS, is preferred.
