Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a  Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Plainville, MA
Contract: 3 Months

Pay Range: $26-28/HR

What's the Job?

  • Create, update, and expedite purchase orders to support production schedules.
  • Follow up with suppliers on purchase order status and delivery dates.
  • Resolve routine purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantities, and invoice issues.
  • Monitor material availability and communicate potential shortages or delivery delays to the Supply Chain team.
  • Support weekly material readiness meetings by providing status updates on open orders and critical materials.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory coordination.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system REQUIRED.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
