Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting the Data Integration and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Programmer III

Location: Jersey City, NJ

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to support data integration processes.
• Create data mappings to ingest data from various sources including flat files, RDBMS, Hive, and REST APIs.
• Develop and execute Unix scripts to automate data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Perform performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries to optimize system efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries, mappings, and database sources.
• Good understanding of PL/SQL, functions, and complex SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX commands and scripting.
• Experience with MuleSoft integration and API technologies is desirable.
