Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in processor development and validation, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting processor validation and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Develop comprehensive electrical and functional test plans for processor interface validation.
- Execute electrical and functional test plans for client processors using hardware and software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Debug electrical and functional issues for new processors to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Provide detailed input into platform definition and participate in the review of platform designs used for silicon validation of new processors.
- Offer technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in processor validation planning, testing, and debugging.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3–5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of directly related experience.
- Experience and demonstrated technical expertise in the development and execution of platform-level electrical and functional test plans.
- Proficiency in debugging processor and PC platform I/O interfaces.
- Experience with or knowledge of using oscilloscopes, reading schematics and layout documentation, and Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Ansible, and C/C++, along with experience with Linux, Windows, and VMware operating systems.
