Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking an IT Project Manager I (BA) to join their team. As an IT Project Manager I (BA), you will be part of the IT Department supporting project management and business analysis functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a keen attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Project Manager I (BA)

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Pay Range: $35/hr W2 - Conversion salary $70k-$75k

Work Authorization: Must be USC or GC Holder 

What's the Job?

  • Lead and deliver technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and estimates, monitoring progress and managing risks.
  • Coordinate resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project success.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent IT experience.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in an IT environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
