Senior Analyst, Sourcing Category Management (IT Services)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and consulting sector, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Sourcing Category Management (IT Services) to join their team. As a Senior Analyst, Sourcing Category Management (IT Services), you will be part of the Procurement and Sourcing department supporting IT services sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Analyst, Sourcing Category Management (IT Services)

Location: Remote (EST preferred, CST acceptable)

What's the Job?

• Support the execution of sourcing strategies for IT services categories to optimize costs and enhance supplier relationships.
• Assist in developing award optimization scenarios to minimize total cost of ownership.
• Conduct supplier and stakeholder inquiries related to category, supply, pricing, and specifications.
• Support sourcing events, contract administration, and supplier analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting IT services sourcing or related procurement activities.
• Knowledge of sourcing processes, RFP support, contract handling, and spend analysis.
• Experience with sourcing tools and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
