Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting cloud-native platform development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Platform Engineer
Location: Denver, Colorado
Pay Range: $95/hour, based on experience
What's the Job?
- Design and develop platform capabilities on top of Kubernetes to support scalable deployment processes.
- Build and maintain networking components including ingress, DNS, certificates, firewalls, and service connectivity.
- Enhance the scalability, security, resilience, and maintainability of the platform infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, architectural discussions, and long-term system design planning.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation such as system architecture diagrams, post-mortems, and incident management runbooks.
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure development, deployment, or maintenance within Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with a variety of Kubernetes tools such as Kyverno, Karpenter, Argo CD, Prometheus, and others.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including networking and security aspects.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages such as Python or Typescript.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and enthusiasm for solving complex infrastructure problems.
