Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $25 - $28 per hour (W2)


We are seeking a “Microbiology Tech II” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Position Summary
This hybrid role combines responsibilities in Quality Inspection and Microbiology Environmental Monitoring to support site quality, compliance, and manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable, and capable of performing quality assurance inspections as well as microbiological environmental monitoring in cleanroom environments while maintaining compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of purchased materials, components, and finished products.
  • Conduct testing and inspections to verify compliance with quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Record inspection and test results accurately.
  • Identify and document non-conforming materials within the NCMR system.
  • Recommend improvements to quality policies, procedures, and inspection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and regulatory initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and contractors.
Microbiology & Environmental Monitoring
  • Perform environmental monitoring within cleanroom environments using aseptic techniques.
  • Conduct:
    • Viable air sampling
    • Viable surface sampling
    • Non-viable particulate monitoring
  • Perform compressed dry air sampling (preferred).
  • Utilize LabVantage LIMS to document testing and monitoring activities.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Maintain laboratory records and microbiology documentation.
  • Follow contamination control procedures and cleanroom requirements.
  • Support microbiological investigations and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Quality Inspection, Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring, or a related regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom practices.
  • Familiarity with viable and non-viable environmental monitoring.
  • Understanding of quality systems, inspection processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), preferably LabVantage.
  • Strong documentation skills with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong computer skills.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Two- or four-year degree in Microbiology, Biology, or completion of at least two years of science coursework is preferred.
