Technical Trainer / Instructor

Seeking a Technical Trainer / Instructor to design and deliver engaging technical training programs that improve learner competency, technology adoption & operational performance through instructor-led, virtual and hands-on learning experiences.

***This role is hybrid requiring the selected candidate to work onsite 3 days per week***
The Technical Trainer / Instructor is a professional who teaches technical skills, software, systems, tools and/or processes to employees, customers, students, or business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver technical training programs.
• Create training materials, presentations, guides, and lab exercises.
• Conduct instructor-led training (ILT), virtual training, and workshops.
• Assess learner performance through quizzes, assignments, and practical exercises.
• Provide coaching and support to improve technical proficiency.
• Update training content to reflect new technologies, products, and processes.
• Track training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Expertise preferred in the Microsoft Office Suite (hyper-focused on Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Adult learning and instructional design knowledge.
• Classroom and virtual training facilitation.
• Curriculum development and content creation.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Trainer, Instructor, or (IT) Technical Specialist

• Industry certifications relevant to the subject matter (e.g., MOS, MCAS, MCP, MCT, CTT+, APTD, CPTD)
