Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the display and optical film industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician  to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician , you will be an essential part of the Optical Films Department supporting the engineering and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota

Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Cutting, preparing, and testing optical films used in various display technologies such as TVs, monitors, mobile phones, laptops, and automotive applications.
  • Assisting with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results for engineering review.
  • Following established procedures and methods to ensure quality and consistency in laboratory work.
  • Working independently at times while collaborating effectively with team members to meet project goals.
  • Maintaining laboratory protocols and inspection procedures to uphold safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • Experience or training in a laboratory or technical environment is preferred.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong aptitude for technical tasks and problem-solving.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or education is advantageous.
