Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Core Java w/ Python (NJ) to join their team. As a Core Java w/ Python (NJ), you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting critical reference data applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective solutions for business-critical components.
• Develop, deliver, and support applications throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate closely with global technical and business stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Own and enhance existing application stacks to improve performance and functionality.
• Implement changes across critical reference data applications with full responsibility.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in Core Java development.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Python.
• Experience with Hibernate and financial domain knowledge.
• Strong understanding of unit testing concepts and agile development methodologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or LLM-based coding.
