Business Data Analyst with AI/LLM (No C2C)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Business Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Data Analytics Department supporting the Surveillance and Compliance Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Business Data Analyst with AI/LLM

Location: Rockville, Maryland

Pay Range: $80-84/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Conduct complex analysis of automated surveillance systems to identify potential regulatory violations across multiple asset classes.
• Bridge regulatory requirements with technical surveillance logic, ensuring accuracy and completeness of outputs.
• Translate highly technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Prototype solutions to address complex business problems and manage their implementation into production environments.
• Serve as a domain expert, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the development of business requirement documents.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Strong SQL skills for large-scale data analysis on distributed platforms.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to large datasets.
