POMS Techno-Functional SME

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, is seeking a POMS Techno-Functional SME to join their team. As a POMS Techno-Functional SME, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team supporting manufacturing, quality, validation, and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Albany, NY (On Site)

What's the Job?

• Gather and analyze business requirements from manufacturing, quality, validation, and IT stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into MES functional specifications and system designs.
• Configure and support POMS MES workflows, electronic batch records (EBR), recipes, and manufacturing processes.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, fit-gap analyses, solution design reviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes through MES capabilities.

What's Needed?

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong expertise in POMS MES modules, configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Experience supporting CSV activities, including writing and reviewing validation documents.
• Knowledge of electronic batch records, deviations, manufacturing investigations, and regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, GMP).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
