Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cyber Security Engineer - Mid-Level to join their dynamic team. As a Cyber Security Engineer - Mid-Level, you will be an integral part of the Security Operations Department supporting critical security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for safeguarding digital assets, aligning successfully within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer - Mid-Level
Location: Southlake, TX (Preferred) and Secondary Locations - Austin, TX or Phoenix, AZ. This role is on-site with a hybrid work model requiring four days onsite per week.
Pay Range: $59
What's the Job?
- Develop and implement security measures to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
- Monitor emerging security threats and assist in creating detection mechanisms based on current trends.
- Troubleshoot security issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Work with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security architecture and compliance standards.
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in security implementation and related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python and familiarity with dev operations.
- Knowledge of federation and IAM technologies, especially Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
