Java Developer - Junior

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Junior to join their team. As a Java Developer - Junior, you will be part of the software development department supporting the trading platform team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer - Junior

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Range:$42.83

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-performance, multi-threaded desktop trading applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and troubleshoot complex software solutions
• Participate in system design, coding, testing, and debugging activities
• Provide expertise on installer, Java JRE updater, and backend modules of the application
• Interface with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams on strategic initiatives

What's Needed?

• 1+ Years of experience with Java and J2EE (both client and server side)
• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, distributed systems, and relational databases
• Knowledge of concurrency, multi-threading, and performance tuning in Java
• Familiarity with agile development and test-driven methodologies
• Proficiency with UI frameworks such as Swing, JavaFX, or similar APIs
