PUR Sourcing Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry sector, is seeking a Procurement Associate to join their team. You will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the procurement and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Associate
Location: Remote (CST)
Pay Range: $23-26/hr
Contract: 3 Months, potential to extend

What's the Job?

  • Support stakeholder requests related to procurement transactions, vendor onboarding, and purchasing processes.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice, receiving, and purchase order exceptions in collaboration with Accounts Payable and business partners.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, pricing discrepancies, and purchasing inquiries.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and proactively resolve issues that may impact supply continuity.
  • Maintain accurate procurement master data and purchasing records.

What's Needed?

  • Associates Degree with 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, customer service, or a related operational role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, S4 Hana, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
