Desktop Support

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support professional to join their dedicated team. As a Desktop Support specialist, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting a large network of users across the state. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Desktop Support
Location: Madison, WI - Remote (WI resident only)
Duration: 12+ months with highly possible extension
Pay Range: $31 - $34 / hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Support, test, maintain, and install workstation hardware and software components
• Manage and support Operating Systems for user workstations
• Assist with peripheral device maintenance such as printers and scanners
• Handle incident and service request management efficiently
• Collaborate with team members and support projects related to hardware and software deployment

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of experience in Tier 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardware
• Proficiency in supporting and maintaining Operating Systems for user workstations
• Experience supporting peripheral devices like printers and scanners (2-5 years preferred)
• Strong background in incident and service request management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for customer support
