Game Capture Artist

Our client, a leading entity in the gaming and entertainment industry, is seeking a Game Capture Artist to join their dynamic team. As a Game Capture Artist, you will be part of the Marketing Creative department supporting creative and innovative visual content development. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual storytelling skills, excellent communication, and a passion for cinematic media, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Pay Range:$31.25

What's the Job?

• Work as a virtual photographer, creating compelling cinematic images that tell a story, are on brand, and fit the brief.
• Assist with live event and consumer product photography projects, taking the lead when required.
• Explore creative new ways to photograph game content and develop unique scenarios for images, design assets, and merchandise, pushing the boundaries of virtual environments.
• Research and develop new in-game camera tools and capture processes to enhance visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with senior artists, creative leads, and project directors on creative concepts and overall project direction.

What's Needed?

• Advanced understanding of photography principles including composition, lighting, and camera movement.
• Proficiency with camera settings such as depth of field, aperture, lenses, ISO, and sensor formats.
• Ability to plan and execute complex action sequences involving character blocking and camera positioning.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, and Capture One.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and effective communication abilities.
