As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Factory supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Mobile, Alabama (On-site with potential for remote work 2 days a week)
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products to support business needs.
- Build and enhance enterprise datasets, including normalized and denormalized data models.
- Develop new data domains and business-oriented datasets to optimize manufacturing and operational processes.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data assets across the platform.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
What's Needed?
- Strong experience in Data Engineering with proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Polarso, and Data processing frameworks.
- Proven expertise with Palantir Foundry, including code repositories, workshops, and ontology management.
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and understanding of data modeling principles.
- Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating within a broader transformation program.
